The Recruitment Scholarship & Data Coordinator at Emporia State University is an essential part of the university’s recruitment strategy. Emporia State is seeking an individual who can provide data reporting, analysis and will lead efforts to execute scholarships as a recruitment tool for the university.


The Recruitment Scholarship & Data Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Recruitment Scholarships - coordinating within admissions and across campus including foundation, financial aid, academic departments, marketing and others to execute strategy to award and notify incoming students of their individualized recruitment scholarship opportunity to increase yield of new student enrollment; partner with admissions, marketing + campus colleagues to promote scholarship opportunities; lead and execute specialized scholarship awarding events
  • Data + Reporting - develop and deliver on-demand and regular reports + analysis of key metrics for undergraduate admissions; work closely with ESU admissions data team to ensure new data is loaded into the system; and pull data reports for key vendors.


This capable individual will execute a metrics-based, ever-evolving strategic plan to help Emporia State yield a cohort of newly enrolled undergraduate students. The selected candidate will deliver a superior student recruitment experience that will attract new students to Hornet Nation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scholarship Promotion + Award Process 

  • Package + award individualized recruitment scholarships to new incoming students.
  • Promote scholarship opportunities through multiple mediums.
  • Plan and execute scholarship award events. 


Campus Scholarship Coordination

  • Build relationships with faculty and key campus partners.
  • Partner with faculty to ensure recruitment scholarship efforts are coordinated + resources are maximized to increase enrolled students.
  • Work closely with ESU Financial Aid + Foundation to align efforts and ensure compliance to policy. 
  • In collaboration with campus colleagues establish related policy + procedure to use scholarships as a recruitment tool.

 

Reporting + Data Analytics

  • Develop and deliver on-demand and regular reports + analysis of key metrics for undergraduate admissions.
  • Work closely with ESU admissions data team to ensure new data is loaded into the system.
  • Pull data reports for campus constituents, KBOR + key vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years+ relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to build + advance professional relationships with all levels of professionals.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills. 

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary: $50,000-$60,000 annually
  • Qualifications and previous experience will be considered for salary.
