Emporia State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, permanent Instructor in Clinical Psychology. Start date will be August 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate on-campus classes such as Abnormal Psychology, Emotion and Stress Management, and Professional Psychology, and supervising undergraduate internships. Courses taught in the applicant’s area of specialization will also be considered, and summer teaching opportunities are possible.



  • Candidates are expected to excel in teaching and to provide service at the department, college, and university levels. Research and/or scholarship will not be expected in this non-tenure track position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications Required: 

  • Applicants should have either a MS or doctorate (PhD or PsyD) degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and should be licensed or license eligible in Kansas. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. 

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary:  $48,100 - $50,200 annually based on experience or additional qualifications.
