We are actively seeking an energetic, positive, self-driven, organized individual to fill a full-time Assistant Director of Data Management with our Admissions team. This position will be based out of Emporia, KS. This position works year-round and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, 403b retirement with employer match, tuition assistance, and much more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Director of Data Management’s primary responsibility is to support ESU’s Enrollment Management Admissions area though coordinating electronic recruitment efforts and assisting the Associate Director of Admissions with CRM management. Primary responsibilities include managing recruitment communications and marketing plan in support of the University Marketing Plan. Additional responsibilities include staff and program development of Data Specialists. The Assistant Director supervises the Graduate Assistant in social media management. Close collaboration and communication with Undergraduate Admissions, Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, and Enrollment Management staff on campus is essential.


Administration - 60%

  • Able to execute all aspects and functions of the Banner/Salesforce Target X (CRM) system
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Coordinate various outreach strategies including daily mailing projects
  • Develop strategic communications in various platforms to students, families, and campus partners
  • Work closely with all Enrollment Management and Student Success, Information Technology, and Marketing and Communication personnel
  • Attend Admissions meetings and events as appropriate.


Staff Development – 25%

  • Supervise personnel
  • Create and facilitate Salesforce Target X user trainings
  • Works with Associate Director to develop priorities, manage personnel, implement recruitment strategy
  • Serve as resource for the Enrollment Management and Student Success division




Program Development – 15%

  • Create, manage, and execute a strategic social medica communication plan
  • Create events in Salesforce Target X
  • Assists with event programming as needed
  • Manage Educator and Parent Outreach plans
  • Manage Admissions Counselor travel outreach

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of one year of relatable experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups is required.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Target X CRM is preferred. 

COMPENSATION:

This position is full-time, 12-month position. Salary Range: $40,000-$45,000.
