Data Specialist

The Data Specialist processes applications and transcripts for incoming students as well as scanning all admissions documents. This position also maintains data entry data requirements by following data standards set by Emporia State University Admissions. Accuracy, attention to detail, and organization of student electronic files within the Admissions Office are primary responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned for the continuing success of student recruitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data entry from undergraduate admissions applications
  • Processing transcripts
  • Scan application materials
  • Assist with Admissions Mailing
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with one year of experience in an office, administrative, or academic/student services support position.
  • Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
