The Emporia State University Nursing program invites applications for a nine-month, full time, tenure track position in ACEN accredited BSN and MSN programs. Appointment effective August 2024. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The successful candidate will be qualified to teach in both the MSN and BSN programs, depending on need and assignment by the academic supervisor.
  • Responsibilities include classroom and clinical instruction across the lifespan (medical/surgical, pediatrics/obstetrics, and fundamental nursing). May include teaching at the master’s level in graduate program. Candidates must be committed to undergraduate and graduate nursing education, research, and service. Baccalaureate teaching experience and doctoral preparation in nursing preferred/desired and required if teaching at the graduate level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirement:

  • Master’s degree in nursing required.
  • Must have an unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Kansas. 

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary:  $73,000 - $90,000 in an annual basis.
  • Qualifications and previous experience will be considered for placement of base rank and salary.
