Emporia State University currently has a Custodial Supervisor vacancy with the Memorial Union team, located in Emporia, KS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee custodial crew cleaning operations for the Memorial Union.
  • Responsible for organizing, examining, and managing the work activities of team members.
  • Ensure that custodial workers are supplied with all necessary materials for their work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
  • Standing or walking for 7 or more hours per shift
  • Movements that require manual dexterity, trunk strength, wrist-finger movement, twisting, bending, pushing, and pulling.



Required Education and Experience:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED, as well as at least two years of appropriate experience.
  • Appropriate college coursework and vocational or technical training may act as a substitute for education.

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary:  $18.26 per hour.
