Emporia State University’s Counselor Education programs in Emporia, Kansas seek applications for a 9-month, tenure track, assistant or associate professor position in our CACREP-accredited Clinical Counseling and School Counseling programs. The position may be structured as an on-campus or remote tenure track appointment. Alternatively, the position may be structured as a non-tenure track multi-year appointment with administrative responsibilities. The position will begin January or August 2024.
The position emphasizes teaching and development of effective school counseling practitioners at the graduate level.
The ESU program is a 60-credit degree program that meets both school and clinical licensure for the state of Kansas. Responsibilities include teaching asynchronous and synchronous online courses in school counseling and clinical counseling, advising students, providing supervision to interns, performing scholarly and service activities, and executing CACREP/KSDE/CAEP accreditation endeavors. Opportunities for summer teaching exist.
