Emporia State University seeks applications or nominations for the inaugural Dean of the School of Visual & Performing Arts. The Dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the division, which includes the disciplines of Art, Music, and Theatre.
The newly formed School of Visual & Performing Arts integrates ESU’s excellence in the arts to provide exceptional high impact learning experiences, fulfilling the University’s mission of “preparing students for lifelong learning, rewarding careers, and adaptive leadership.”
The Dean will work closely with program leadership and faculty to develop a comprehensive strategic vision for the reorganized school, deepen the school’s community engagement, and advance initiatives to engage and recruit students, including both majors and non-majors, to the University and to the school’s programs.
