Emporia State University’s Business Office is seeking applications for a highly organized, detail-oriented, team player to join us as the Director of Cashiering Services. This is a full-time position, eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily accounting functions using Banner program.
• Complete daily balance sheets and deposits.
• Process additional payments through TouchNet, Flywire, and TransferMate.
• Process excess financial aid to student accounts via Banner.
• Post departmental deposits via Banner and OnBase. 
• Complete 3^rd party billing processes, including submitting required documents to vendors and posting and refunding payments on student accounts.
• Effectively communicate with students and authorized users, various Emporia State University departments, and off-campus entities regarding student accounts, deposits, and billings.
• Work closely with Athletics, Human Resources, Registration and Office of International Education regarding waivers and student accounts. 
• Supervise student workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field plus at least one year of experience. 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are also required

Preferred requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field and three years of experience. 

COMPENSATION:

• Salary:  $20.64 – $23.12 hourly.
• Qualifications and previous experience will be considered for placement of base rank and salary.
