Emporia State University (ESU) seeks applications or nominations for the Dean of the School of Applied Health Sciences (AHS). The Dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of AHS, which includes programs in Nursing, Counselor Education, Psychology, and Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.
AHS combines ESU’s current strengths in the health sciences to provide exceptional, high-impact learning experiences, fulfilling the University’s mission of “preparing students for lifelong learning, rewarding careers, and adaptive leadership.”
The Dean will work closely with assistant deans, faculty, and staff to continue to develop a comprehensive strategic vision for AHS, enhancing the University’s impact on health-related professions within the region. In addition, the AHS Dean will oversee operations for a state-of-the-art Nursing and Student Wellness Center set to open in Fall 2025.
