Emporia State University is currently accepting applicants for a Physical Plant Supervisor vacancy with our Electrical team located in Emporia, KS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure high quality service and work is provided to students, departmental staff and faculty, and visitors
- Supervise benefits-eligible and student staff and oversee the electric shop
- Train Facilities staff on electrical safety protocols and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Navigate Outlook, WORD, EXCEL, and other technology
- Provide training and team development to team members
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED
- At least five years of supervisory experience in the electric power industry
- Holds a Journeyman Electrician license in Kansas
- Able to read construction documents
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Current driver’s license
COMPENSATION:
- Salary: $26.59 - $33.50 hourly
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
