Emporia State University’s Communication program invites applications for a nine-month, Assistant Professor position, specializing in public relations, to begin in August 2025.
The Communication program prides itself on teaching and practicing ethical, civically engaged, and collaborative communication. Program faculty members promote opportunities for students to put their skills into practice through community engagement and other high-impact learning experiences. The program strongly encourages efforts promoting inclusive and equitable pedagogy and research. We welcome candidates who will contribute to and strengthen these efforts.
This position may be offered as a tenure-track, multi-year contract (non-tenure track up to three years), or non-tenure-track appointment, with consideration of factors including, but not limited to, academic program needs, the authority of Emporia State University, the qualifications of candidates, and consideration of the interests of candidates.
