The Data Management team within the Graduate School at Emporia State University is seeking a full-time Admissions Evaluator to join our collaborative staff. The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package, including comprehensive benefits, and extensive training over a one-year period in customer service and all levels of graduate and undergraduate admissions processing. The person selected to join our team will work closely with Graduate School staff and faculty and staff across campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide polished customer service to ESU faculty, staff, and all applicants via email, telephone, and in person, and coordinate campus visits for prospective students.
  • Become well versed in university policies, processes, and procedures, and use that knowledge to accurately address customer-service related questions. 
  • Become proficient in the use of all software systems supporting application processing.
  • Process all application types. Become proficient working in all stages of the application process, including supplemental items, transcripts, and eligibilities. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications:

  • High-School degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three years office experience working in an educational or administrative setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in all communication modes.
  • Willingness to learn and to use critique to improve performance.
  • Familiarity with technology and multiple software systems.
  • A work history that demonstrates progressive responsibility and the ability to make sound decisions and engage in detail-oriented tasks.


COMPENSATION:

  • Salary: $16.68 - $24.18 hourly
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
