The Executive Associate provides support for executives and vice presidents of senior leadership team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Position provides expansive support to executive vice presidents with an elevated level of professionalism and hospitality to dignitaries and other guests. Position maintains strict confidentiality, handles sensitive information with discretion, and displays high emotional intelligence. Represents the university with the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and composure.
  • Anticipates the needs of executives and proactively addresses challenges and inefficiencies. Should possess the ability to build trust and exercise sound judgment. Perform other duties and contribute to special projects and initiatives at the direction of senior leadership.
  • Manages schedules, appointments, and communications for key executives. Serve as a professional and welcoming liaison to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong relationships across campus and with community members. This role operates as the first point of contact for the executive suite, interfacing with executives, dignitaries, legislators, benefactors, faculty, staff, and students.
  • Provide executive support to executive vice presidents’ involvement and membership with local, state, and national organizations. Maintain bookkeeping accounts for foundation and state accounts for Office of the President, Executive VP of Operations, VP for Economic Development, VP of Finance, Internal Audit, University Development, and Government Relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or five to ten years of professional experience in an administrative setting


COMPENSATION:

  • Salary:  $23.12 - $28.84 hourly
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
