Emporia State University currently has a Custodial Supervisor vacancy with our Building Services team located in Emporia, KS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure high quality service and work is provided to students, departments, and visitors 
  • Supervise benefits-eligible and student custodial staff 
  • Navigate outlook, word, excel, and other technology 
  • Provide training and team development to team members 
  • Clean and maintain assigned areas 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Two years of experience in custodial work; supervisory experience is preferred 
  • Ability to lift 45lbs on a regular basis 
  • Ability to twist, bend, stand for long periods of time 
  • Current Kansas driver’s license 

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary:  $20.87 - $31.31 hourly
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. 


Anticipated Work Schedule:

  • Sunday 12pm to 8:30pm
  • Monday through Thursday 2pm to 11pm
