The Content Manager, Digital Strategy & Web assists in the development, governance, and optimization of content for the university’s website and supports a cohesive strategy for digital content across platforms. This role ensures digital content is clear, accessible, user-centered, and aligned with institutional goals related to enrollment, user experience, student success, and reputation. The Content Manager collaborates closely with all campus departments and stakeholders and campus partners to deliver a consistent and effective digital experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and manage/maintain the university website, including content creation, editing, publishing, and lifecycle management
- Ensure digital content is accurate, current, brand-aligned, and compliant with accessibility (ADA/WCAG) standards
- Support and help execute a university-wide digital content strategy across web, landing pages, email, and other digital platforms including social media.
- Use analytics, SEO insights, and user behavior data to guide content decisions and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular content audits and recommend updates, improvements, or content retirement
- Train and support campus content contributors on CMS use, best practices, and accessibility requirements
- Collaborate with web developers and designers on site enhancements and new initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
COMPENSATION:
- Hourly Rate: $20.87 - $31.31
- Hourly Rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
