Emporia State University currently has a Lock System Specialist vacancy with our University Facilities team located in Emporia, KS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep secure records of all re-keying projects
  • Inspect, complete, and record: key requests, service requests, inventory, and project status
  • Install door hardware including but not limited to locks, closers, and automatic operators
  • Effectively coordinate tasks with other craftsmen in order to avoid disrupting on-going university activities or classes

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of relevant experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to successfully complete University Keying System training within 3 months of employment
  • Have manual dexterity, trunk strength and wrist-finger movement

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary:  $20.87hourly
  • Qualifications and previous experience will be considered for placement of base rank and salary.
