Proactive. Communicative. Intelligent. Collaborative. These words describe a new Emporia State University Foundation teammate who will move Emporia State University forward through best practices of data maintenance, analysis and reporting.
The Director of Advancement Information Systems will build upon, maintain, compile, visualize, and analyze the organization’s rich data stores to inform decision-making with the ultimate goal of multiplying and strengthening relationships between Emporia State University and its alumni and donors.
This role is critical to helping the University Advancement (UA) team engage more alumni and achieve both its near-term and long-term fundraising objectives. Candidates should be experienced data analysts with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
Preferred candidates will have experience and demonstrable success working with SQL (Microsoft and/or Oracle), ER Modeling, and experience with data mining techniques. They will have experience in higher education advancement and/or experience working with Raiser’s Edge NXT (or similar advancement CRMs) and Power BI (or similar data visualization tools).
